Christmas in Stockholm
Speaking about the most attractive world capitals Stockholm comes up first. Winter Stockholm has a look of a piece of some fantasy world. Stockholm Old Town looks great all the time, however in winter it turns into something specific. Maybe it is so because of that fantastic atmosphere that presents in the old market.
Become a baker
Skansen is probably one of the most memorable places in Stockholm. It is a very large open-air museum founded long ago in 1891. One could find all sorts of Swedish architecture there. What is more, some historical buildings still work! The most exciting events begin in the evening of December, 24.

You will become an inveterate shopping fan if you go to Stureplan square. People say that all the pleasure is not about the goods you pay for but to the shopping itself. Stureplan should be a point in your Christmas Eve route. One will hardly find such a site with such a Scandinavian ambience in any other part of the planet.
After the shopping you may go for ice-skating and have a great entertainment with your family and friends. The skating rink visitors are mainly foreign tourists. That is why the skating rink is an ideal place for striking up new acquaintances.
Spend your time with family
Undoubtedly, museums of Stockholm are a great leisure solution for kids and adults. Anyway, there are also some activities mainly oriented on parents and children. For example, you can go altogether to Stockholm circus. Every performance there is good for spending time with family. Don’t worry, your children will not be dissatisfied! Stockholm circus is a must-see place for any tour with family.
One more great thing is ferry. Find a ferry just near the Opera and join a great tour around the see area. But be careful – if it’s a windy day it can be very cold aboard. But even if you get numb you may always ask for a thick and warm buck skin. If the weather is calm and it’s not snowing you will see really memorable views of winter Sweden.

Enjoy a great view of Stockholm
The Sports Center in Stockholm has the shape of a large globe. Check out the largest ball in the world. In addition, you could enjoy a great view from the Sports Center viewing platform. The revolving deck moves around the Center and gets to the height of 130 meters! Entire Stockholm will be seen in plain sight.
